Vote Your Values
Then as I looked over the situation, I called together the nobles and the rest of the people and said to them, “Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!”
Nehemiah 4:14
The book of Nehemiah is a glimpse of where we now stand. The Jews had been sent back to take the land the Lord had given them. Each family was assigned a section to build. The enemy kept taunting them and the people grew weary. In chapter 4, Nehemiah reminds them of their great and glorious God who had called them to rebuild, promising that He would be with them. Yet, they had to fight for what belonged to them.
Isn’t this where we find ourselves today? God has commissioned us to take back this nation and to bring His Kingdom to earth. He has promised to deal with our enemies and give us success. We can trust Him in this, but at times it can still feel overwhelming. The enemy’s attacks are brutal and relentless, but we are assured victory if we are fighting from a place of rest in Yeshua. Our future is very bright in Christ.
We cannot afford to give the enemy one inch of space. We must examine our thinking and consider our children, the future of this country belongs to them. What are we going to leave them? The answer to this question lies in how vote next week.
We are not talking politics! This is not a red vs blue battle. This is a spiritual battle that demands all Kingdom citizens to rise up and vote your values. If we want our children to have a chance at a life of liberty, we must vote for Kingdom values. This is where your worldview really matters! It’s no longer just a conversation about what you or I believe, it is faith in action with a desired outcome that will enable this nation to survive. We are not here to be nice to our enemy. God is not playing nice with those that have tried to destroy His people. He is gracious to those who may repent from their wicked ways, but He says “I will take vengeance upon my enemies.” The devil is real and has made himself known. His deeds are exposed and as a result of them, people have died, our money has been stolen, our children have been taken as prey, infiltrators have been released into our neighborhoods to rob us of property, peace and safety.
God has given us the chance to take back the seven mountains of society and live in His abundant peace and joy. How do we do this?
Pray, pray, pray….but on November 3…VOTE YOUR VALUES!
