Blessings!
The goal in writing these GAPS was to challenge you to take an honest look at what you truly believe regarding faith in Jesus Christ. No one wants to be caught unawares or to fall away because of delusions or false teachings. Luke 4:18’s mandate is to help establish firm foundations so that you will not shake when all else shakes. Rather, you will be rooted and grounded deeply in the Word and in Him. That’s the only safe place to be!
In Hebrews 5:11-14, Paul talks about the same issue and writes:
11 Concerning this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull and sluggish in [your spiritual] hearing and disinclined to listen. 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers [because of the time you have had to learn these truths], you actually need someone to teach you again the elementary principles of God’s word [from the beginning], and you have come to be continually in need of milk, not solid food. 13 For everyone who lives on milk is [doctrinally inexperienced and] unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a spiritual infant. 14 But solid food is for the [spiritually] mature, whose senses are trained by practice to distinguish between what is morally good and what is evil. AMP
God directed us to fill in GAPS and offer solid food to believers hungry for Truth and insight into the spiritual realm. We believe you want to bring down strongholds, be spiritually mature, always seeking more of His Presence, ever wanting to press in closer to the Truth, Who is Jesus. We pray you have a hunger and thirst for His Word from the throne daily.
We believe time is short and the days are perilous. Christians all over the globe face persecution and death. The battle is not political or cultural. This is the end-time battle of the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. Receive that truth!
Keep going:
- Know His Word. Be Bereans (Best known for searching and studying the Bible for themselves and not merely accepting what they were taught).
- Search out Truth.
- Find a fellowship which is life-giving and meaningful.
- Don’t settle for surface conversations and secular advice.
- Come out of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and get into the Tree of Life, where Jesus is waiting for you.
- Look for openings to share the love of Jesus and your testimony. Do it daily!
- Find a place to serve and use your gifts. The Body of Christ needs them!
- Continue the trainings on our site.
