CLEANSING THE HOME

Our eternal dwelling place is with Jesus, the Prince of Peace. In His Presence is fullness
of joy. He is our Light and Life. Our home on earth should possess these qualities, as
well. Often times, however, our home can feel more like a battleground; it manifests
what’s going on in the spiritual realm. Through prayer we can take back this ground
and cleanse our atmosphere of demonic interference.

Cleansing your home can drive out confusion that wants to rob you and your family
bloodlines of sleep, harmony in relationships, bad habits and anxiety. Peace and
blessing can rule in your home. Praying through the house should be done when you
move into a new home but also can be done when you sense strife or a lack of
peace. Cleanse the atmosphere and restore God’s order to your dwelling place.
Take anointing oil with you to apply to doors and windows that serve as gateways of
entry to the outside, but also within the house. As you enter each room, ask God to
show you what is going on in that room. Repent for any sin.

Ask the Lord to show you any unholy or cursed objects that need to be removed
from the room, home or property. Release blessings and angels to guard over all who
enter. Send all identified spirits out of the house.

Here is a more general prayer to cover your entire home and property.

Lord Jesus, all You have given to me, I give back to You. I decree that You are the
lawful owner of this dwelling place and I declare that this is a habitation of
righteousness made for Your glory. I speak the Name of Jesus and the power of His
Blood over this home and property. I now command that any objects, curses, hexes,
vexes, spells, incantations, forms of witchcraft or demonic activities that have taken
up residence be rendered null and void by the authority and power of Jesus’ Blood
and the His Name. I command all demonic spirits to leave the premises now and the
effects of their curses be reversed and turned back against themselves. I seal up all
points of entry, every portal and gateway with the Blood of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus,
that by Your Blood we are protected from any astral projection trying to enter this
home. I decree that Jesus is a wall of fire around this dwelling place and He is
constantly rejoicing over this dwelling place.  All relationships, businesses, ministries,
finances, health, and family bloodlines matters that take place under this roof are
covered by Your Blood and blessed by You. I command angels to be stationed at
the four corners of this property and for legions of angels to guard and keep us.
Thank you that You alone are our strong tower, our Protector, Healer and Deliverer.
We yield ourselves and our dwelling place to You. Amen!

CLEANSING THE LAND

• On arrival at the property, praise the Lord and exalt His name.
• Confess the sins that you know, or suspect, took place on the property. God may
give you fresh revelation as you walk the land. (4 ways land can be defiled:
idolatry, immorality/fornication; bloodshed, broken covenants.)
• Take the Lord’s Supper together. It is through the Blood of Christ that the cleansing
comes. Hebrews 9: 26; Numbers 35:33 Remember the land is punished for its sin
(Lev. 18:25) By the act of celebrating the Lord’s supper on the land, we
appropriate by faith the shed blood of Christ on God’s land, in order to expiate
(make amends for) the iniquity and blemish of sins.
• Thank Jesus for His presence and call for the protection of the Lord and angels.
• Declare that the curse over the land is broken.
• Pour out bread, wine, salt on the land as a symbol of His redemption.
• Anoint the land with oil as Jacob did (Genesis 28:18,19).
• Dedicate the land to the Lord and command all evil spirits to go; their hold is
broken.
• Ask for angels to be posted around the perimeter of the land.
• Place the stakes, with scriptures written on them, in the ground. (We sometimes
place a scripture stake at the 4 corners of the property.)
• Declare victory. Praise His Power! Psalm 24; Psalm 68:1-4.
• Pray protection over yourselves – no retaliation, revenge, retribution. Plead the
blood over all who participated, including families, pets, ministries, cars.
