Day 1 – The Land is Listening

June 11, 2025 / Written by Luke 4:18 Ministries

The Lord is inviting us all to be more intentional to understand His redemptive design and sound embedded in the land so we can cleanse, bless, heal and unlock it for His glory- as we release the voice of the Lord and align the earth back to the eternal sound of God in heaven. Please join us in reflection, repentance and prayers of redemption for Austin and the surrounding Central Texas region.

Revelation: Romans 8:19-22 says creation groans, waiting for the revealing of God’s sons. The land is not passive- it listens, remembers and responds.

Activation: Research and listen to the land where your home, church, business and city is. Focus first on what God designed it for originally, not the sin in the territory. (Understanding Romans 12 and the redemptive gifts will help you here.) Then look at how it has been twisted by darkness. Repent for any known historical or personal defilement in the land- bloodshed, injustice, idolatry, covenant-breaking, and sexual sin. Ask the Lord for more specifics.

Worship Focus: Take what God has said and is revealing about the redemptive aspect of these areas and begin to worship Him with these in mind. Release cleansing Scriptures, testimonies, and applicable Biblical promises according to God’s heart for the land and to ignite a holy washing in the water of the Word and Spirit of God. Go about your days intentionally living in an opposite spirit from that which has previously defiled those spaces.

Faithfully,

Remembering what God said about Austin through the stars in her star chart at her inception, we see that Austin is first and foremost called to be a place of overwhelming overcoming through high praise and worship. Music is a very special gift and should be used to usher in the wonders of the Lord. With this anointing expressed through worship, Austin fights for true righteousness for the people and for the land.

Today, we repent for the bloodshed and violence that has been committed in Austin. We come before our Holy God and confess that just recently at least 38 bodies have been pulled from Lake Austin. The details of these deaths have not been identified, but we grieve over the lives lost in this manner. We submit ourselves before you, Lord, and ask You to forgive us for these crimes, for the bloodshed and the loss of life of these mostly young men. You knew the destiny You had prepared for each one. Forgive us, Lord, for allowing life to be stolen from them. Forgive us for not aggressively pursuing the truth about each death sooner, so that others might be prevented. Forgive us for looking away when we should have been fighting for righteousness. We plead Your blood over these deceased, over those that stole their lives, over us as a community for allowing this to take place. We ask for a renewed sense of urgency to investigate and prosecute those that perpetuated these crimes. Remove the scourge from our land and cause righteousness and justice to arise over us.

• We plead the Blood of Christ over Austin and this territory.
• We speak blessings over Chief Davis and APD.
• We agree that God will give wisdom and strategies to APD which will preempt the plans of the enemy.
• We declare Austin a city which belongs to the Lord, a city named Beulah.
• We declare justice and righteousness will prevail.
• We bless this territory with a double portion of joy and agree that the mountains are trembling and His people will dance upon injustice!
