Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham Stir Up Austin

Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham just finished a tour call “Summer Worship Nights.”   Every night they were sold out in major cities across the nation including Houston, Los Angeles, Austin, Nashville, Pittsburg, Cincinnati and more.

The Summer Worship Nights were unique because each night had a call for salvation.   Thousands came to Christ!!!    But here’s the kicker….these calls for salvation had follow-up instructions for each person. SWN gave everyone who entered the concert a wrist band with a QR code. Brandon took several minutes during the night to explain how to get more information on next steps after you receive Jesus.

As a person who has been in radio for 39 years, I’ve never seen anything like this and I can tell you, I’ve seen almost every Christian artist. There are usually a few testimonies, but little spoken about the POWER in Christ. Never have I seen a message like this!

And not only spoken of but demonstrated. At the Los Angeles concert, a 37-year-old guy had a poster asking to pray for him to be healed of cancer and Brandon stopped the show and prayed for the guy to be healed and then prayed for addictions and diseases to be healed over the 22,000 who were there.  Brandon took Authority in Jesus’ name.

Brandon and Phil pray for each city as they come there to worship.  This can only be a “strategy from Heaven”.   They are unashamed of the Gospel and tell their attendees that God wants them in Heaven for eternity and that Jesus is the way.  The presentation is loving, natural and sincere.

Here’s what happened when they came to Austin, TX on July 25, 2025.

In Austin, Brandon said that the Lord wants revival, but it wasn’t going to come unless the church (believers) took Authority. He said this is the word that the Lord gave him for ATX…” Authority!” He was given the word “Authority” and told us that revival would NOT come unless we took Authority.

Taking TRUE Authority means repenting, (turning from your sin and facing Jesus) and seeking to live a life of clean hands and pure hearts by the power of Holy Spirit and through obedience.

People are asking for revival, but they don’t want to take Authority.  I believe the Lord sent Brandon to reproof the ATX church. Revival and Holiness go together! The ATX church and believers all over the USA are calling for revival, but not calling for the Holiness of Father, Son and Holy Spirit to descend upon us and wash away what needs to go.   We are not letting go of the past, so we can take hold of the Authority that Christ has given us through His death and resurrection, nor are we walking in the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord. We need the fresh revelation of the Power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

As you sing these songs, with a loud voice, sing them with Authority.  Sing them over your family, your city, your nation.  Join with God’s heart and take these words into your heart. You are here to partner with Jesus and change the atmosphere.

I believe Brandon and Phil are called to help Believers use the weapon of worship and praise to hear the Lord’s voice. They are here to help get the bride ready!

As part of the Ekklesia that has been praying for the ATX church, it’s clear that the message and worship Phil and Brandon brought is part of the answer.

God is faithful and at work in Austin, TX!
